Our managing director, Rog How, is the new Branding Mentor at Lisbon Challenge.
The Challenge is a pre-seed acceleration program that focuses on the people behind a startup, and is designed to hone a founders’ skills and prepare them for the challenges ahead.
Lisbon Challenge invests €10,000 for 1.5% equity, to help startups build and launch their product in 10 weeks. In 5 years, the program’s alumni have raised over €53,801,200.
The brainchild of Beta-i — a Portuguese organisation created to boost entrepreneurship and foster a true innovation culture not only in Portugal, but around the world — Lisbon Challenge takes on 15 startups for two intakes a year, one in Spring and one in Fall.
Rog will be working alongside the candidates to try to define what branding is, and then apply this to their own nascent company. He will look at brand identity, and talk the startups through how to develop it and what to do with it. Well done Rog and the successful 2019 startups — exciting times ahead for all involved!
